Inuyasha: Half Demon with a short fuse. He is in love with both Kikyo and Kagome though he never
admits being in love with Kagome. He always runs off in the middle of the night to go see Kikyo if her souls
collecters are around. He is always upsetting Kagome. but manages to make it up to her. Inuyasha wants
to kill Naraku for killing Kikyo and turning them against each other. Inuyasha also wants to collect all of the
shards of the Sacred Jewel and become a full fledged demon.
Kagome: A sweet, kind 15-year-old girl who thought she had a normal life until she was pulled through the hidden
well in a shrine on her family's property. She ended up in feudal day Japan and freed Inuyasha from the spell Kikyo
had him under after the monster(Mistress Centepede) that pulled her through the well rips the Sacred Jewel from Kagome's body
and tries to kill her. Keade, Kikyo's younger sister, discovers that Kagome is the reincarnation of Kikyo.
Kagome and Inuyasha must join forces and search for the jewel shards. Kagome brings back food and first aid from her
time as she passes through the well.
Sango: A demon slayer whose brother gets captured and possessed by Naraku to kill all of their friends and family on
his first slaying mission. Sango tries time and time again to free Kohaku but none succeed. She had made up her
mind one time that she was going to kill Kohaku then herself, but Inuyasha stopped her before she could do that. Her
brother Kohaku and feline companion Kirara are her only memories of the demon slayers village that Naraku slaughtered.
She is an excellent fighter and carries on her back her Hirikotsu, or giant bone boomerang. Sango ends up
falling in love with the monk Miroku and often hits him with her boomerang when he womanizes.
Miroku: A lecherous monk who loves to ask women to bear his children. He is after Naraku for placing a hole in
his grandfather's hand 50 years ago that was passed down from generation to generation. The hole in his right hand is
a void known as the Wind Tunnel that will suck up any and everything in its path. Each year the hole gets bigger and
will one day comsume Miroku as it did his father and grandfather. Miroku womanizes but his heart truly belongs to Sango.
Shippo: Cute fox demon that appears on the show when the Thunder Brothers kill his father. Shippo tries to steal
the sacred jewel shard from Kagome so he can become stronger to avenge his father's death. Shippo accidentally gets
Kagome kidnapped in the process and needs Inuyasha's help. After Inuyasha kills the Thunder Brothers, Shippo joins
them on their quest for the jewel shards which turns into a hunt for Naraku as well. Inuyasha is always picking on Shippo
but Shippo has Kagome on his side. Whenever Shippo whines, Kagome tells Inuyasha to "Sit!"
Koga: Wolf Demon who wants to avenge his friends and famliy's deaths. Koga kidnapped Kagome after he found out
she could see the Sacred Jewel Shards in his arm and legs. He anounced that he was in love with her and that
she should be his. His original enemies were the Birds of Paradise, but after Inuyasha destroyed them, he thought
he was done. Not long after his fellow wolf mates were lured to a castle by sacred jewel shards. They were all
slaughtered by Kagura. Koga swore to avenge his commrades, then kill Inuyasha so he can take Kagome as his.
Sesshomaru: Inuyasha's older brother. But unlike Inuyasha, Sesshomaru is a full demon, and for that exact reason,
Sesshomaru wants to kill Inuyasha. Sesshomaru has a 'holier than thou' attitude, so he thinks that their father
was stupid for mating a mortal and the Inuyasha must die because of it. He and Inuyasha battled in their father's grave
and Sesshomaru lost his left arm. While he was healing, a young girl came to his aid everyday with food and water.
Though he was badly injured, Sesshomaru didn't accept the Rin's kindness. She was later killed by Koga and his wolves
but Sesshomaru revived her with his Tenseugia. So now Rin follows him wherever he goes. As does a little
imp named Jaken.
Kikyo: Priestess once in love with Inuyasha. She ended up dying by Naraku's hand. She was resurrected by
a witch named Urasue and ended up killing her. Kikyo's vow was once to kill Inuyasha for betrying her but that changed when
she found out it was Naraku who really killed her. Kikyo has tried to kill Kagome but she noticed that Kagome is a nice
person and ends up protecting her. No one really knows if she still loves Inuyasha but Kagome.

Naraku: Evilest half- demon you could ever meet. He turned Kikyo and Inuyasha against each other 50 years
ago to gain possession of the Sacred Jewel. This bacfired and the Jewel was burned with Kikyo's body. 50 years
later, Kagome appears and so does the jewel. Naraku goes after it and makes incarnations of himself named Kagura, Kanna,
and Hakudoshi. Naraku possesses Sango's younger brother, Kohaku, with a Sacred Jewel shard and commands him to kill
people.
Kagura: Naraku's incarnation. She gas the power of the wind on her side and wants to kill Naraku so she can be
free and be the wind. Her attacks are: Dance of the Dragon, Dance of Blades, and Dance of the Dead. She ends up
falling in love with Sesshomaru.
Kanna: Another one of Naraku's incarantions. She follows Naraku and rarely speaks. She is the only one Naraku
trusts. Kanna uses her mirror to suck out the souls of the living. She is the protector of Naraku's human heart.
Hakudoshi: Naraku's last incarnation that may be most evil one yet. He was split in half as a baby but grew into
a young boy. When he was a baby, he tried to make Kagome become Naraku's eyes, but that didn't work out too well.
He can clearly reads Kagura's thoughts and often toys with her. You don't really get to know too much
about Hakudoshi because season 7 ends before you can find out more.
